Premarin Vaginal Cream 0.625mg/g medication is a female sex hormone (estrogen). It treats and manages symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and vaginal changes/dryness. This medicine is also prescribed to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal Precautions and Warnings
Do not use Premarin if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant, this medicine is not for you. Besides hypersensitivity to this medicine, you are not allowed to take this medicine if you have the following:
- Liver disease
- A history of cardiovascular conditions
- A history of cancer, particularly cancer of the breast or cervix
To ensure that Premarin is safe to use, tell your healthcare professional if you have a history of the following conditions:

Direction of Use
- Remove the cap from the tube.
- Insert the end of the applicator onto the tube.
- Squeeze the tube and allow enough cream to flow inside the applicator.
- Once the required amount is taken, unscrew the applicator from the tube.
- Lie on your back with your knees drawn back.
- Insert the applicator into your vagina and press the plunger to deliver the medication inside.
- Clean the applicator with warm water.
