Uses of Estring Vaginal Ring

Estring Vaginal Ring is prescribed and administered to treat a certain medical issue called vaginal atrophy. This product is used continuously for about 3 months until it has provided relief to women who experience the aforementioned medical condition.

Estring Vaginal Ring contains Estradiol. The Estradiol is a form of estrogen that regulates processes in the entire body of a woman. It supplements the lacking estrogen that the body needs to fight off and manage several symptoms caused by vaginal atrophy.

Estring Vaginal Ring Precautions and Warnings

Avoid using this product if you have the following:

• Vaginal bleeding
• Liver disease
• Bleeding disorder
• Upcoming surgery
• Heart attack
• Blood clot
• Stroke
• Breast cancer

If you are also pregnant, you will not be prescribed this product. Its major component can possibly affect your unborn baby.

Estring Vaginal Ring Dosage

Once inserted into the vagina, the Estring Vaginal Ring will provide that safe and lasting dose of estrogen to the part of the genitals. It will remain in the vagina for a maximum of 90 days. In inserting it, you may ask your doctor to administer it to ensure that the ring is properly applied and inserted.

After 90 days, the doctor will reexamine your progress and recheck how the treatment is going. If another product of Estring Vaginal Ring is needed, that means that your treatment will require more days to get yourself totally recovered.
