Colchium-Dispert 0.5mg (Turkey) is a prescription medicine used to treat an acute gout attack. It is also used to treat a genetic condition called Familial Mediterranean Fever in adults and children aged four years and above. Colchium-Dispert works by reducing the swelling and pain caused by gout attacks.
Precautions and Warnings
Do not use Colchium-Dispert if you are allergic to it, especially to its active ingredient, Colchicine. This medicine may harm your unborn baby. If you are pregnant, ask your doctor first if you are allowed to consume this medicine.
To ensure that Colchium-Dispert is safe to use, inform your healthcare professional if you have a history of the following conditions:

Dosage
Usual adult dose for gout:
- Take 1.2 mg of Colchium-Dispert orally at the development of flare signs of gout. Follow this dosage with 0.6 mg one hour later.
- If a maximum dosage is necessary, take 1.8 mg of Colchium-Dispert orally.
