Uses of Bupron

Bupron XL 300 Tablet is used in treating depression and smoking cessation. This medicine functions by increasing and stimulating the level of chemical messengers in the brain. This process helps relax the nerves and provides a calming effect on the brain.

Bupron is equivalent to a brand called Wellbutrin. Both of them have the generic name Bupropion. These medicines are not suitable for children 18 years old below. They are also a part of a drug class called miscellaneous antidepressants and smoking cessation agents.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not use Bupron if you are allergic to it and its ingredients. Additionally, this medicine is prohibited for usage if you have/had (1) a seizure disorder, (2) an eating disorder, and (3) abruptly stopped taking alcohol or seizure medications.

Bupron Dosage

Usual Adult Dosage (for depression and smoking cessation):

• Take one dose of Bupron orally once per day.
• Bupron’s generic version Bupropion is available in different strengths. You can use this version to meet your needs in terms of daily dosing.
