Apidra is a medication used in treating type 1 and type 2 diabetes. It is marketed under the generic name insulin glulisine. Once administered, this medicine works fast by just 15 minutes after the injection. It can sustain treatment for about 2 – 4 hours. Insulin glulisine is also available under the brand names Apidra OptiClik Cartridge and Apidra SoloStar Pen.

Warnings and Precautions
