Inlyta

Inlyta is a medicine used to treat advanced kidney cancer, especially when previous treatments have stopped working. It helps slow or stop the growth of cancer by cutting off the blood supply the tumor needs to grow.

Benefits

Dosage

• Usual dose is 5 mg twice a day (every 12 hours).

Usage Instructions

• Take the tablet twice a day, about 12 hours apart.

• Never stop taking Inlyta without talking to your doctor.

Common Side Effects

• Mild to moderate effects: high blood pressure, tiredness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, feeling sick, hoarseness, weight loss, or pain in the hands and feet.
• Serious (seek medical attention): chest pain, shortness of breath, unusual bleeding or bruising, swelling, vision problems, or signs of liver trouble (like yellow skin or dark urine).
