Vermazol belongs to the family of medicines called anthelmintics. It is primarily used in the treatment of worm infections. This medication works by preventing worms from absorbing sugar, leading to a gradual loss of energy and eventual death of the parasites. Vermazol is available only with a doctor’s prescription and may be used to treat common roundworms, hookworm infections, pinworms, whipworms, and other worm infections as determined by a healthcare professional.
