Advair (HFA Inhaler) is a prescription medication used to help prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains two active ingredients: fluticasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the lungs, and salmeterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that helps keep airways open. Advair is used regularly to improve breathing and prevent flare-ups but is not meant for sudden asthma or COPD attacks.

• May increase the risk of asthma-related death if not used correctly; always use under medical supervision.
• Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, seizures, or infections.
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent oral thrush (a mouth infection).
• Long-term use of corticosteroids may affect bone density and growth in children; monitor regularly.

Usage Instructions

• Shake the inhaler well before each use.
• Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and inhale deeply while pressing the canister.
• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.
• Repeat if a second puff is prescribed.
• Clean the inhaler mouthpiece weekly with a dry tissue; avoid getting it wet.

Storage Information

• Store at room temperature (20°C to 25°C or 68°F to 77°F).
• Keep away from heat, flames, and direct sunlight.
• Do not puncture or burn the inhaler canister, even when empty.
• Keep out of reach of children.
