Uses of Tears Plus

Tears Plus 1.4% provides medical treatment for dry and irritated eyes. It relieves eye inflammation caused by certain medications, sun exposure, radiation from computer use, and heat/air conditioning.

 This medication is one of the many eye lubricants available to keep your eyes healthy. It provides the moisture and protection that the eyes need to prevent injury and infection. Tears Plus decreases symptoms of dry eyes, itchiness, and burning sensation.

Warnings and Precautions

 Before using It, tell your healthcare professional if you:

• have any underlying medical conditions
• pregnant or breastfeeding
• are taking other forms of drugs, including supplements or vitamins

Do not use It if you are allergic to it.

Directions of Use

Use Tears Plus 1.4% only for eye care. Follow these steps while applying the product:

• Wash your hands before using this medication. Do not forget to wash the skin surrounding the affected eye.
• Shake the container before opening it.
• Make a small pocket by pulling down the lower lid of your affected eye.
• Apply one drop.
• Close your eyes for about two to three minutes.
• Do the same process to the other affected eye.

 Avoid touching the tip of the container to prevent contamination. Close it tightly after use. Place the product in safe storage, away from children’s reach. Use Tears Plus only as needed.

Common side effects:

• Blurry vision
• Eye redness
• Sensitivity to light
• Swollen eyelids
• Watery eyes

 Severe side effects:

• Eye irritation
• Pain in the eyes
• Change in vision
• Severe burning inside the eyes
• Stinging sensation after using this medication
