Uses of Arpizole
Arpizole is an antipsychotic medicine used in the treatment of schizophrenia, a mental disorder that results in delusions, changes in a person’s behavior, and hallucinations. This medicine is also applicable in treating depression and bipolar disorders.
Arpizole works by stabilizing a person’s mood and preventing the severity of the symptoms associated with schizophrenia. It is available under the generic name Aripiprazole.
Precautions and Warnings
Do not use Arpizole if you are allergic to it. If you are diagnosed with dementia-related psychosis, this medicine may not be suitable for you, and a new prescription drug will be provided.
To ensure Arpizole is safe to use, tell your healthcare professional if you have a history of the following medical conditions:
- High cholesterol levels

- High or low blood pressure

Dosage
For adult doses: For the initial dose, take 10 or 15 mg of Arpizole orally once per day. If a maximum dosage is necessary, take 30 mg of Arpizole orally once per day.
For children’s dosage: The initial dose is 2 mg turning to 5 mg after two days. For the maximum dosage, the recommended amount is 30 mg per day.
